Pyramid (DoodleBob) - Drawn to Life: SpongeBob Edition Soundtrack Extended Gooigi sure is the best sidekick a ghostbuster could have. This didn't stop his impressive feats though of defeating so many ghosts in combat with Luigi including King Boo himself. His real "weakness" you could say is his lack of intellect as he is just barely sentient goo in humanoid form just doing what he was trained to do which is battle ghosts with Luigi. this doesn't matter either since he just reforms from that too. Max: Right well Gooigi does have specific weaknesses to water and fire which do melt him instantly but. MadMaxPyro: Well, considering that he reforms from the splattered goo substance he's made of it would have to take something that would destroy him completely leaving nothing to regenerate from. And when falling off a fucking building and splatting he still just reforms. When destroyed by electricity blasts or laser beams from the extremely powerful King Boo he still just reforms. Whether melted, burned, shot by arrows, etc he just reforms. You see, while Gooigi gets splattered in a few hits rather easily due to his low HP it doesn't matter because he just reforms within seconds. Max: Remember that absurd regeneration I said I'd touch on in a bit? It's time already as I go over his durability. MadMaxPyro: Gooigi has quite the impressive strength too able to lift and slam a half ton grand piano to the ground with a suction cup with enough force to damage it significantly. This gooey form also gives him his greatest gift which is his absurd regeneration but I'll touch on that more in a bit. Max: Gooigi's gooey body makes him malleable able to slip through bars, spikes, grates, etc.
And the dark light device which reveals things that are hidden such as invisible objects, beings, or even footprints. MadMaxPyro: Also the strobulb in which he charges up his flashlight releasing a bright light designed to stun ghosts in place to vacuum them up. Similarly, Gooigi can use a suction shot shooting a suction cup with a long string that can attach to objects or foes slamming said objects to the ground with extreme force as well. Max: As well as new functions with the poltergust G-00 such as the slam ability in which when the power meter is filled up Gooigi slams ghosts to the ground with a lot of force. As well the functions to shoot fire, water, and ice from the poltergust via the element medals. Primarily used for sucking up ghosts but can also suck in small objects and shoot them. Like of course, the basic flashlight and suction ability of the original poltergust. So Gooigi has the abilities of both the original poltergust and updated version in his arsenal. MadMaxPyro: Gooigi would be initially sent back in time aiding Luigi in the events of the original Luigi's Mansion before battling alongside Luigi in a brand new adventure as well in the events of Luigi's Mansion 3. Soon through training this sentient goo Luigi with videos of Luigi catching ghosts he grew a goo poltergust of his own and was ready for action.
Max: So E Gadd decided as way to help Luigi on his adventures he would transform this gooey substance into a clone of Luigi using Luigi's biological data from the pixelator mixed with electricity he actually pulled this off. Initially experimenting on it was useless until a ghost snuck up behind E Gadd causing him to spill his Lunoman Greenie blend coffee into the liquid turning it green and stabilize into a goop form as E Gadd named it goo. MadMaxPyro: But the professor's most recent brilliant invention came from collecting a mysterious blue liquid gathered from ghosts. Max: The brilliant Professor E Gadd has made numerous wacky and genius inventions over the years with the most notable being the sentient water nozzle F.L.U.D.D, the magic paintbrush, and of course the poltergusts used by Luigi in his ghost hunting adventures.
